What We Offer

Founded in 2001 by Margaret McDonald, St. Mary’s Music Academy has been the mainstay of music education in High Point for over twenty years. The SMMA provides children and adults with a foundation in musical education and offers venues for performance. All students are encouraged to participate in recitals, competitions, and music festivals.

Students are taught in a safe and friendly environment at St. Mary's Episcopal Church’s Community Life Center (CLC). Our faculty holds music performance degrees from top colleges and universities worldwide.

St. Mary's Music Academy offers lessons for children and adults in piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola, cello, harp, flute, trombone, and RCM Music Theory. Group music classes for toddlers are available through our partnership with the Gate City Musikgarten.

For questions about private lessons on an instrument, contact the St Mary's Music Academy director, Yulia Roubtsova: musicacademyhp@gmail.com.
