The Academy faculty Lucian Rinando, flute, and Sam Magill, cello, are joined by the CSO Principal Harpist Andrea Mumm for a performance featuring works by Debussy, Ravel, and North Carolina composer Robert Chumbley, whose work will receive its world premiere.
The piano is such a big and powerful instrument! But what is it like to play and make music on one? Little ones will get to explore the piano in a concert that will include pieces about dolls, dancing, and animals. Families will learn how they can engage with music they listen to at home and in the concert hall both with movement, instruments, and most especially, the piano!
